Spring tour

Hello everyone, another year is swiftly flowing out in front of us… I love the change of seasons. Here in PEI there is always a gentle swing between winter and spring - back and forth and back again - until one day you look outside and realize the snows gone, the birds are back and the grass is green.

By the time I hit the road, I expect to see some spring vibes in Ontario, and maybe I’ll come back to one last snow storm on the Island. I hope not, but the unpredictability of seasons here has a certain charm.

And right now the music business has a less charming unpredictability - but we must go with the flow even there I suppose. Venues have been struggling to get people back out, but I see you coming… and artists are struggling to find any money left over after shows and tours due to the crazy inflation and steep rise in costs. Not to mention the rise in tribute bands taking the place of original music at the moment. But that’s another story…

Nevertheless, we persist. We do it because music has called us out to you. And I feel a giddiness, an excitement, that I get to be on the road again. And who better to travel with than my pal Nick Gauthier. He’s a rock star, truly, and we have the most fun on the road.

I’m headed to:

March 14 - Trailside Music Hall - Charlottetown PE - song circle
March 20 - Second Wind Music Centre - Florenceville NB
March 21 - Red Bird Live - Ottawa - SOLD OUT
March 22 - Little Red Wagon Winery - Clarendon QC
March 23 - Greenbank Folk Music Society - Greenbank ON w/ Daniel Raymond
March 24 - Stonecroft Folk - Ingersoll ON
March 25 - @deadhorse.canyon.concerts - Bracebridge, ON
March 26 - Hughs Room Live - Toronto ON
March 27 - Sister Ship House Concerts - Elgin ON

More dates to follow - there’s a lot coming up and I can’t wait to share.

UK. Summer Festivals. Montreal. PEI. I’ll fill you in later.
