October update
What is next?
That's the question I always get... and it's a question I'm asking myself today.
I just got home from a wonderful run of dates, starting in Pictou NS and ending in Miramichi NB. I enjoyed three lovely shows with the incredible US songwriter Rachael Kilgour. Her latest album is an exploration of grief and family and the passing of her father. And her stories are so relatable, each night it was fun to watch the audience open up and latch on. Please check her out.
These shows reminded me of the power of songs and stories. Of how everyone's experience is interesting, we all have something to share. That's why I love the intimate nature of small shows. I love the connection.
In my last post I failed to mention a special show in Canning Nova Scotia. It's a fully solo show, just me and my guitar. And a beautiful piano I think! It's happening at the Sea-Esta Music retreat space. It looks incredible and I can't wait to be in that room.
After that, I have a fundraiser show in Truro NS - I'll be performing The Songs of Gene MacLellan with my band to raise money for Archway Counselling Association.
I'll be staying home as much as possible for October through December but I will be working on my book and my album. Heart projects!
2025 will find me roaming again across the country and across the pond.
You can find me on tour in Alberta and BC in January / February.
There are some Ontario dates for April shaping up.
I'll be in the UK for the entire month of May with Lucy Farrell.
As everything reveals itself, I'll keep you in the loop.
For all show details, head to my website.
That's it for now...
As always, if you can share any show promo with your pals, it really helps me out.
Take good care,
xoxo
