Summer is winding down and so am I - sort of.

Fall is right around the corner, and September may be my favourite month!
It has been a wonderful and wild summer. I've been across the pond and across the country, I've met so many new and old friends, got to hear a bunch of stellar musicians and songwriters, and now it's time to get my cozy on. 
Almost. 
I have a few more shows before I wrap things up for the year. I'm taking a long break from public facing events so that I can focus inward, on my book, on my album, making videos and planning for the future. Maybe it's not a break, so much as a change in pace.

Before I close up shop for 2024, I'd love to let you know about some things that are happening close to home:

For those of you who were watching my travels this summer, you may have noticed that I landed in Jasper the day of the big fire, and was evacuated with my friends. It was a very scary time, I was worried for their whole family and community, for their house (which did burn), and for their futures. 
What I learned from them is that people matter (of course) more than any thing. That insurance companies are jerks. And that humans are resilient and incredible. 
I hope to get back there in 2025 to visit and with any hope to take part in a fundraising event. 
More on that to come. 

I'll be staying home as much as possible for October through December but I have a very busy 2025 in the works. 
You can find me on tour in Alberta and BC in January / February. 
There are some Ontario dates for April shaping up.
I'll be in the UK for the entire month of May. 
And then summer will be back again - and who knows what that will bring.
